Chatime, a leading bubble tea franchise, is seeking a skilled Tearista to join our team and deliver exceptional tea experiences to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Brewing and Preparing Bubble Tea: Prepare a wide variety of bubble tea drinks following Chatime's signature recipes and using high-quality ingredients. Maintain consistency and quality in every beverage served.
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their orders, recommending menu items, and answering any inquiries related to the menu.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure that the work area, equipment, and utensils are clean, sanitized, and in excellent condition. Adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor supplies, toppings, and other ingredients, and promptly communicate with team members to restock as needed.
  • Menu Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the Chatime menu, including the different varieties, toppings, and customizations available to guide customers in their selection.
  • Upselling and Promotions: Actively engage with customers and promote special offers or seasonal items to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations, especially during busy hours, and support each other as needed.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Barista, Tearista, or in a similar food service role is preferred
  • Flexible schedule, open availability, able to commit at least 3 shifts per week.
  • Must be available on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Willing to work evening, weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, with the ability to engage customers genuinely and build rapport effortlessly
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor that reflects Chatime's commitment to outstanding customer service, including discovering and responding to customer needs
  • Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
  • Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to work standing, occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. and carry items as required
  • High intergrity with great attendance record, and strong organization skills and pay attention to details
  • Team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment with multi-task
  • Speak, listen, and communicate effectively in English
